New Deck!

So here is the deck that we added to the front of the house. Daryl's Dad (Bill) came out for Thanksgiving and help Daryl get started and Daryl just finished the side rails. We still have a ways to go, next we are going to put a pergola top on it then sand and paint it. We are going to leave the flooring redwood and stain it. Someday we will get new windows and paint the house also, but one thing at a time!

Christmas Eve

We had a few friends over for Xmas Eve. We enjoyed mexican food and lots of yummy appetizers. Keller was very lucky and got some really nice presents from Rebecca and Loyd, as soon as he opened them, he put on his new clothes and had to drink out of his new water bottle. He was just a little excited!!!

Keller's new toy

Keller got his hands on one of my Halloween props. I thought I would post this picture just to horrify people. I hope it worked!

Kate's work party

Here I am at the end of my 6th month. Daryl's mom knitted me the sweater I am wearing.

We had our work party at the salon this year. It was fun lots of good food and we played guitar hero. Daryl brought Keller for a little bit and then I stayed to hang out with friends. It was a really good time:)

New Camera!

It has been a while since I have blogged anything, the holidays were crazy! We had so much fun and it started with Daryl giving me my Xmas present early....A new digital camera. I can't even begin to describe how much I (we) love it. It is a Cannon Rebel and it makes capturing a toodler's moments so easy! The camera has no delay and the pictures come out amazing. I am getting better with the features, but here are a few shots from my first day with it at the beasch with Keller for our Xmas card shoot.

Keller turns 2!

This was Keller's gift from Papa and Grammy, He LOVES it!

Thanks for the play dough Mimi!

We cannot believe it has been 2 years since Keller arrived in the world. It has been the busiest 2 years I have ever had, but also the most fun and rewarding. We decided to have a little brunch at a local park and let the kids have a ball! Thanks for the playdough Mimi!

USS Midway Museum

It was getting close to naptime and Keller thought that the rescue plane made a fine place to take a snooze

Papa Bill joined us for Thanksgiving this year. We decided to take the day after off and take him to the Midway Museum. The Midway is a retired Navy ship that is now permanently docked in San Diego. They spent millions of dollars restoring her and making accommodations for the public to tour it. It was a wonderful day out and I think we all had a blast!
